This intensive two-day event immerses you in a world of theatrical learning and collaboration. Renowned Theatre Educators, Directors, Craftspeople, and Guest Artists from across the state share their expertise, covering all aspects of theatre education and production.

REGISTRATION:

Early bird registration is $150 (by May 15). After May 15, registration is $175.

TxETA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION TO SUMMERFEST:

  • If you purchased or renewed your TxETA membership to attend ThetreFest 2025 in Arlington or any of our events after September 1, 2025 your membership is still current. Please READ and FOLLOW the SummerFest registration instructions carefully so that you are not charged for a membership you do not need. 
  • If you are NOT currently a TxETA member you will need to purchase or renew a TxETA membership to attend SummerFest 2026.
  • Memberships purchased for SummerFest 2026 will expire on August 31, 2026.
  • SummerFest is the final event for the TxETA membership year.
  • A membership purchased for SummerFest 2026 will need to be renewed to attend TheatreFest in October 2026.
  • The TxETA membership year is September 1 - August 31 each year.

DORM ACCOMMODATIONS:

Optional dorm accommodations at SFASU will be available. Dorm rooms are single occupancy.
Accommodations can be booked for the full three-night stay, or individually by the night.

Essentials to Bring: Please ensure you have sleeping linens for a regular twin bed or a sleeping bag, a pillow, towel, washcloth, shower shoes, and any personal toiletries you may require.
